Moisei Magazine was not born in a boardroom. It started the way most good things start — out of necessity, boredom, and a complete inability to leave things alone.
We cover culture. All of it. The high and the low and the things that refuse to sit in either category. The artist who has not slept in four days because the work demands it. The designer who changed how a generation dresses and still has no idea how to talk about it. The photographer shooting in places nobody bothered to look at. The musician who only agreed to be interviewed if we came to them. We came to them.
We are independent. Completely, stubbornly, sometimes painfully independent. No one tells us what to cover or who to feature. There is no editorial committee. There is just us, and the work, and the question of whether we are being honest enough. Each issue is a small argument for why this still matters. We prefer you scroll slower. We prefer you care more.
